P1010566.JPGI've attached a photo of myself, Clarissa and my wonderful other half, Jeremy. I always think its nice to put a name with a face. Read on to learn more about us, our breeding program and policies.

I have been breeding Chihuahuas for over 10yrs now my first litter born in 1998, after falling in love with the breed in 97'. That first litter produce my very first chihuahua to be finished to a champion. His name was Pm's Ting Boston Blackie P.I. Owned and shown by Elaine Cave.  "Boston" has since crossed the rainbow bridge but will never be forgotten.

It wasn't too long after my first litter that I decided I was hooked. I started a breeding program shortly after I purchased my first home and have been breeding ever since. There isn't a day that goes by that isn't filled with our love of the breed. We spend every available minute with our little ones and have spent a small fortune devoting our home to make it Chi-friendly. Our dogs do not live in Kennels, they live in their own 350sqft, air conditioned indoor play room. They have indoor/outdoor access throughout the day in a carefully constructed outdoor run. They also have run of our 1/3 acre property several times a day under our careful supervision. It is important not to let our or your own chihuahua(s) out to roam the yard without being supervised. There are many hazards that can cause them harm or even kill. People have tried to reach over my chain-link fence to take off with one of my Chis & and Chis have found a way to squeeze out through the chain-link, (the number 1 reason we privacy fenced to whole property in 07). Birds of prey often stalk Chihuahuas as they are small enough to carry off, Snakes are also dangerous to these tiny creatures; Chis find snakes very interesting and if bitten by one that is poisonous it is almost certainly a death sentence due to their tiny bodies, Coyotes are also on the rise. More and more I read in the local papers about toy breeds being snatched up by these wiley opportunists. Please don't let your baby become lunch!!

Our babies are only confined out of necessity. For example when they are in season and not being bred, or when still too young to be around adults. They are bathed regularly, on monthly heartworm preventive as well as flea/tick preventative, given annual shots/check ups and teeth cleanings when needed. Our females are not bred until fully mature at around 2yrs of age and not bred repeatedly without breaks like so many other breeders do. We love our Chi's and it shows!! We can provide excellent referrances from our veterinarian as well as Clients that own several of our little ones. WeeChi's wants your puppy experiance to be a happy one. We are here for you anytime you need us and it is our stirct policy to be available for any questions or concerns you may have throughout the life or your baby.

Please understand that while we want to entertain all of your requests sometimes its just not possible or safe for our puppies to do so. Please do not ask to come to our home to just "visit", while we love to be of help to all Chi lovers and interested parties, it is just not safe for our little ones to be played with by children or over exhausted by people just looking. I have found over the years that people tend to want to come play with puppies as something to occupy an otherwise uneventful day, this usually starts out with someone going to pet stores to ooh and awe over their pups and ends up with a tour of local breeder's homes. Breeder hopping is a big "No No" you are potentially spreading disease and endangering the lives of my puppies and adults. While all my dogs are up to date on vaccines, all diseases/viruses mutate regularly. And while they may be vaccinated, they may not be immune to the strain you came into contact with. Bordatella (Kennel Cough) and Parvo can kill adults as well as puppies and an outbreak would likely destroy all of my tiny babies, Chihuahuas are just not big enough to fight off such horrible illnesses. I also do not show my puppies until they are a minimum of 6wks of age and/or have had at least one round of vaccines.
